Salutations! My name is Jamie Cannon, and though I feel as though it’s a name that belongs on an 8 year old girl, I am an American well on my way past 22 years old. I was born and raised in Florida; I lived most of my life-so-far in Englewood, right on the beach south of Sarasota, then I moved to Winter Park near Orlando to attend Full Sail Real World Education for a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Game Design and Development. Now, I’m living in New Jersey, working on my writing, and, of course, playing video games in my free time. I have great friends and family, a long-haired dachshund named Dexter, and a very adorable cat named Squall who enjoys laying on my keyboard while I am trying to work. Nonetheless, I have so far managed to complete three original novels, a smattering of poetry, and one student game project created while I was at Full Sail.
At this moment, our game appears to have lost its domain name, . I was in charge of Project Management and Game Design. I know my way around C++, OpenGL, DirectX, Lua, and various other programming APIs encountered while earning my degree, though my passion lies in design and project management – my two main responsibilities on Ziggurat Six.
My fiction and poetry is hopefully going to be visible on a bookshelf sometime in the near future. And whenever I get a website finished there will be samples on there for your enjoyment. Meanwhile, as of early 2009 my fourth novel is nearly finished and I’m quite happy with it!
